I was reading Teresa Nielsen Hayden's blog, and one of her entries brought to mind something I'd quoted in my nearly a decade out of date dissertation. I went to find the quote, and had to check my hard copy, given odd formatting things about how I did my dissertation (don't ask). As I'd expected, it took me a while to get out of the book. Some of it's very good. Of course, some is painfully overstated, but there is a lot of good material in it. Then again, that's mostly because I quoted it.
