I made three panels, having decided to skip a few more. I skipped the 10 and 11 am panels in favor of moving slowly and browsing in the dealers' room. At noon, I made "The Evil Temptress". At 2 pm, I made "The Inclue and Other Writing Tricks", which was a little disappointing, despite having very good people on it. It seemed to boil down to "Inclues are good. Some people set them up as they write, while others do it during the rewriting process." I'll see if a review of my notes turns up more useful nuggets.

At 3 pm, I was in time for cake and sweets at the book launch party for the NESFA collections of Poul Andersan's and Roger Zelazny's short stories. At 5 pm, I went to "The Destruction of Hope", which was good and idiosyncratic.

Then, [livejournal.com profile] agrumer, [livejournal.com profile] bugsybanana, and I went to Chinatown. We went to Emperor's Garden, aka Imperial Garden. The dim sum was good, but it took a while to get served, given that there was a huge function in the next room. We got back to the hotel late enough that I didn't try to make Jo Walton's play. [livejournal.com profile] mnemex joined us in the room, and he and I dozed, then went party crawling.

After that, mnemex played a game and we went filking. We crashed out around 5:30 am, but I still managed to make a 10 am panel on Sunday.
