One of the Hot New Games folks are enjoying around here is Pandemic.

mnemex and I are currently using cadhla's CD, Red Roses and Dead Things, as wake up music.

Is it any wonder I keep humming The Black Death? The lyrics on the website don't include the hilarious call out lines between the lovely scientist and her groupies just, ah, dying to know all about the Black Death.

I really dislike Pandemic for the same reason I dislike other co-op games, i must admit...

It depends; I am beginning to think that Pandemic has enough complexity to be worth a team, and depending on how you scale it, it can be a pretty difficult (or impossible) puzzle.

I don't like co-op games in general, but Pandemic is inetresting enough that I'll likely play it a fair number of times more.

Exactly. The best strategy is to figure out who's best at the game, and let them play it.
