I've finished Convent of the Pure, by Sara Harvey, with endorsements from Catherynne Valente, Jacqeuline Carey, and Michael Burstein, a very diverse trio indeed.

And, I picked Mistborn back up and finished it. Good for the most part, but I do wish there hadn't been some convenient stupidity on the part of the bad guys right near the end. One can handwave it as understandable overconfidence, but it still jars given the rest of the book didn't need it.
