Gwen Knighton, that is. I just re-listened to "Falling for Lancelot". I heard it first live, from her, at Arisia some years back. I think the reason I like it so much is that it's one of the few songs out there that gets across -- without mentioning anything more explicit than that the fact of kisses in the past -- the sex in the Lancelot-Guinevere affair. I don't mean "and they were lovers"; I mean that I can feel the raw sexual tension when she sings that song, as well as the seriously complicated range of feelings. We're talking an always passionate affair that often included hate, as these two people hurt each other a great deal through the years.
