mnemex and I planned a party well in advance, and got a pretty good turnout. mnemex noted two days ago that he was about to turn 35, and he wouldn't mind a party in the same place.
So, on nearly no notice, we got a total turnout of 7 people, including us, and a table fairly quickly, despite having no reservation. Not bad!
