Ice in Georgia

We are in Georgia en route to the airport. We don't know if our flight will get out yet. The issue is not snow, but ice. We heard that it is so cold that deicing planes isn't doable. We shall see.

The walk to and from Waffle House was very, ah, interesting, and involved a human chain on the way back in a couple of spots. Ice is amazing stuff.

On Airplane

We are on the airplane. It is now a matter of whether it can take off. The major variable is the ice.

In NYC, with luggage

Down and on a bus to subway. Minor luggage confusion, when no claim area was listed for the flight, and the guy in the office didn't realize that the mob descending on him had not actually lost baggage, but needed to know where the baggage was. He was about to look up each person's baggage individually, but then things got sorted out, and we all got out luggage. Yay!
