It seems that the official electronic editions of the Harry Potter books are going to be sold without encryption.
I've read all seven, and have mixed feelings about the series. Rowling is good enough that her sloppiness is very frustrating.
Nevertheless, as a friend said, "I would be tempted to buy the series to support this model."
