There have been a lot of good Disney movies. Brave has its flaws, but I'll cut it slack for:
-- Focusing on the mother-daughter relationship
-- Pushing for the importance of stories and history-as-story
-- The princes being just as uninterested in marriage Right This Very Instant as the princess
The Princess and the Frog was delightful six ways to a Sunday, even if something I wanted to happen in it didn't.
It does happen in Frozen, though. In some ways, Frozen is a movie I've been waiting my entire life to see. Certainly, I've been wanting something like this for at least the last few years.
It's not flawless. But, it's very, very good. Go see it.
