A friend of ours whom we usually see once a year at GenCon, Patrick Smith, was in town this weekend. So, we took him to Columbia University's weekly Games Club meeting, stopping first for dinner in Dynasty.

Dynasty's a Chinese restaurant with really neat spicy Szechuan dishes, really neat tasty Szechuan dishes, and really neat gentle Szechuan dishes. In the first category is a cold bean gelatin dish I fancy. Cleans out the sinuses nicely.

Patrick and I showed up after [livejournal.com profile] mnemex, so he ordered some dishes. One of these was a hot bean gelatin dish, also spicy. Pretty good! Dynasty fans, give this one a try. The gelatin is in cubes rather than in thin rectangular slices, so easier to pick up. Yummy.
