mnemex, and I, possibly assisted by Beth Bartley, are hoping to run a larp at Dexcon in July, set at the Roman Baths, so that we can hold it in the hot tub. To get us in the mood, Stephen showed the movie A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum a few weeks back. I'd seen it before, but appreciated it much more now that I already knew it didn't mimic the play precisely. "Fewer songs, more plot," said Stephen.
Josh hadn't seen it, and he liked it. I'm pretty sure I spotted John Pertwee in a bit part.
