Finder: The Rescuers

agrumer has said that Carla Speed McNeilFinder may be the best comic out there, and I think he's right. mnemex and I buy the graphic novels, not the individual issues, and we picked up The Rescuers, which is the latest. As mnemex said, it is very painful, and very good. This is true of much of Finder.

I do wish the author were more explicit about some things. Without the notes at the back, at least one important plot point would have been utterly obscure to me. Also, ever since I read The Rescuers, "Love's Old Sweet Song" has been running through my head. This would be less annoying if I knew all the words, I think.
