I know a film director, it seems.
Some time ago, I bought a video tape of Return to Innsmouth. At Origins, I bought a second copy by accident, and I gave it to
crash_mccormick. Tonight, I watched my copy at last.
It was directed by Aaron Vanek. I met him the year I was at UCLA. I think the year after I was there, he became president of Enigma, UCLA's sf club.
I shouldn't be surprised, but I'm still feeling vaguely surreal.
Oh, and I've got to track down a copy of his The Yellow Sign. I'm a Hastur fan.

Did you like the space cadet live game I/Enigma ran at WorldCon 2006? (did you play? If so, who were you?)
You know me, but, do I know you?
Hi.

I did not make any of the larps at WorldCon this year, but the one item on the film program I did make was The Yellow Sign. Need to check my budget to see if it's recovered from the convention, but there's always holiday presents, and, worst case scenario, Origins 2007.

What's your name?

Cool. I hope you enjoyed my talk. There was a problem with the WC screening; the audio on the DVD is 5.1 surround, and the projectionist simply clicked "Hall" on the stereo, which added extra echo to the audo tracks. I didn't notice it until later (I didn't stay for the whole screening, I saw the beginning and the end).
The Yellow Sign sells for $20.00, plus S/H. I can sign it, too, if you get it to me (or order it from Lurker Films, and let Andrew know; I'll be up there next weekend, I can sign copies before he mails them out).
Adventure Retail is pretty good about carrying my films; if you're at a con, try them.
