D&D 4th and mail hijinks

crash_mccormick ordered the D&D core books from Amazon, paying extra for faster shipping. By yesterday, only the DM's Guide and the adventure pack had arrived. mnemex ordered the books via normal shipping, also from Amazon. All three arrived together on Wednesday. Go figure.

Me? D&D 4th is not going to be my game of choice, but I like it a hundred percent better than D&D 3rd because I can read it -- the faux notebook look is gone, gone, gone!

I ordered mine with free shipping, and it spent a couple of days in limbo -- I got an email saying they'd had to reschedule my order, but when I viewed the order on Amazon, it said both "shipping in july" and "we're prepping your order for shipping, so you can't change or cancel". There was also a pending charge for it on my card.

It shipped yesterday, so I don't mind the confusion too much. I figure I'll get it tomorrow or Monday. (And I ordered the boxed set, so it won't ship in parts.)
