I have an appointment with my GP for tomorrow.

My laptop screen is cracked, which is annoying, as it's out of warranty, but it might well be
worth fixing. We shall see. Backing up hard disc, insofar as I can, given that it won't let me just copy over the C drive.

My understanding is that fixing the screens on low-end laoptops is often not cost-effective, but I have no numbers.

It will depend on the numbers. If they're not too high, it makes sense. We'll find out!
