Much fun, much pie, both real for eating and boffer for throwing. Much unapologetic metagaming to make sure timing worked out on plot arcs, and much thought about the ways this works -- in general, in this game, metagaming is good.
Much singing. Much dancing. Much drama, both planned and unplanned, where random chance led to a perfect dramatic sequence of events ensuring that World Wide Wickets will open tomorrow. And the Groundhogs ripped those Chipmunks off the field.
Tomorrow, we'd like to slip in "Put On Your Sunday Cloths", but this is probably dependent on how early folks wake up. The Dolly romance arcs should wrap at Sister Sarah's revival meeting, if Sister Sarah agrees. Reno Sweeney will be there, so there are going to be two musical numbers, if all goes as planned.
After that, I know there's Frank and Annie's shoot off, and the chairman of the board auditing World Wide Wickets, as well as a lot of stuff I'm not remembering.
Kudos to Annie Oakley and her carefully planned costume changes.
Oh yes, and kudos to Mayor Shinn and his wife, the new Mayor Shinn for a lovely dramatic seat of the pants election, though kudos also to Lucy van Pelt for a great answer to his question, "What's the matter with kids today?"
