We were going to see the musical Coraline tomorrow, but opening night was pushed back. Still, we got our dose of culture, thank to Scandinavia House's dinner and a movie deal.
The movie was Astropia, about an Icelandic woman who has to find a job, and gets one in a comics / gaming store. She joins a gaming group. And all of this is very self-empowering for her, making the movie kind of an anti-Mazes and Monsters. The movie was delightful.
Dinner was good too, although I had to forgo the gravlox, which was cured in alcohol, as I'm still on extremely strict no-alcohol meds. The desserts were lovely, including a rice pudding with berries in it.
