The hospital asked for permission to do a blood transfusion, which we gave, and for temporary dialysis, which we gave. The cardiothoracic surgeons will take a look again tomorrow to see if they feel surgery is warranted. This isn't, I am learning, so much a yes-no question as a yes-not just yet question.
