So, there's this census meme going around.
2011: Living with
mnemex in the Sunnyside / Woodside neighborhood of Queens. We call our place The Bookery.
2001: Living in The Bookery with mnemex, having moved there with him a couple of years earlier from The Crackerjack, in Astoria, Queens, where I was living with
pocketnaomi,
acrobatty, and one other housemate who's blog handle, if any, I don't know.
1991: Living with my parents in Co-Op City, the Bronx, NYC, going to grad school. At this point, I'd been in fandom for, I think, seven or eight years. I started running my rpg campaign, which means that this was also the year White Wolf's first edition of Vampire: The Masquerade came out. (No, I didn't run a V:TM campaign. I ran Cthulhupunk, which has very little in common with Steve Jackson Games' GURPS Cthulhupunk.
1981: Living with my parents in Co-Op City, attending Hunter College High School. Definitely an avid reader of fantasy and science fiction by this point.
1971: I think we had just moved to Co-Op City from Parkchester, also in the Bronx.
1961: Not even conceived yet.
