How does one break a CD / DVD without injuring oneself or sending shards flying? My shredder has let me know it really doesn't want to eat them.
(These are redundant backups from the earlier half of the previous decade. I figure I can slim down to one per year. I'm not trying to ward against some hypothetical person willing to try to reconstruct a broken CD or DVD.)
