My allergies are still having a party, but I have tissues and better meds.

My last game yesterday was Muffins, which the ticket said was in Morrow, but which was actually in the Looney Lab. Fortunately, the game needed to restart, so the four of us who listened to the tickets were able to catch up. It was modeled on a 1980s computer game, with Andy playing the computer and everyone in the circle taking a turn as the player.

Today, I discovered that Powerade seems to be what I crave. La Krema can't so sandwiches or shakes, but is extending its hours. The generics are hefty tokens with Catan resources on the back. We have everything except Wood, and I know there's someone I can trade Brick for Wood with if I can find her tomorrow.

I did my shopping at Adventure Retail, where it was good to see Jerry again, and at IPR. Then, I went to my first game, Apocalypse World, which ran five hours and was a lot of fun. There were seven players, which meant I didn't focus on all of my character's hooks (fronts?), but everyone was on board with things.

My second game was CthulhuTech, played at the investigator level. This was also a lot of fun. It was written for six, and we had three players, but we selected the right mix of characters and had a blast. Unlike the written scenarios I've seen for the game, this was a scenario where player choice mattered, and there was a lot more player choice than in many good scenarios.

We're now in the food court. I hope to crash soon, perhaps after another shower.
