I've finished the short stories up for the Hugo, and I'm up to the third novelette.

The short fiction categories are going to be pretty easy to vote for this year. Actually, so are the long ones.

Hm. For short story, I have my first and last place, but the stuff in the middle's tricky. I've now got my ranking for novelettes, but I wasn't all that thrilled by any of them. I've just started the novellas.

For the novels, the tricky thing will be finding time to read the last two. I expect that if I do that, I'll find the ranking pretty straightforward.
