Tuesday, I did a fair amount of sleeping, and I started listing the WorldCon purchases and freebies in my spreadsheet. Wednesday, I got to a New York Review of Science Fiction meeting. also after a fair amount of sleeping. Thursday, I did some shopping, as Ashes of Honor was now officially out, and I think I got the last copy on the shelves of the Union Square Barnes & Noble.

Friday, I saw my GP who confirmed that I had lucked out with my tumble from the hotel tub at WorldCon. If I hadn't already been taking ibuprofen, that's what he would have prescribed. Today, we managed to miss / be missed by the tornadoes thus far, and we had a lovely meal with friends at the Grand Szechuan at Ninth Avenue and 24th, which has a new name on the awning, but the same food.

I've been working on updating my spreadsheets of books, games, comics, and CDs. It's going fast, as I've been good about entering new titles, even when I haven't figured out where they will be going. Mostly, I'm confirming things are where they were, with a fair amount of tweaking the location column to account for the fact that some of the bookcases in the study are now in the bedroom, even though those are the bookcases that we didn't move when we swapped the furniture. I've identified a couple of paperbacks I can probably bring myself to add to the out pile.

And, I've gotten into the habit of not deleting items I discard, but marking them as Discarded or Gift so that I don't accidentally buy them again. (Deliberately buying them again is fine.) I have reluctantly decided that I'm not likely to read the two collections of John Clute's reviews that I have, so if anyone wants them, let me know. I've also put Acroyd's biography of London into the pile, as well as a couple of earlyish Dresden Files novels, but I suspect those who would want to read them already have.
