This might possibly turn into a more complete write up, but for now, I'm just putting up the cliff notes. But even these may be more detailed that folks what plan to play in these games want.

Here's what I played in:

Welcome to Scearbridge -- Mediocre, but still fun for me. No plot, only powers. Lack of game balance. 6 hours, the last one or two of which were chaos. Oh, yes, and I had to ask after the game if I were playing a woman or a guy -- not that I minded, but one or two players referred to me as "he". This may have been a couple of the players assuming that anyone named "Chris" had to be male.

Geraldine's Birthday -- Got to die horribly. This was my fault, as I was too subtle for the person I wanted to get to do something. Well, partly the GM's -- I didn't realize I actually needed to get it done by noon. But I got to end the game by dropping dead after blowing out my candles, which was waycool. And the GM seemed on top of everything else. We had real food, 60s magazines, photos where possible. Overall, a good game.

Col. Sebastian T. Rawhide's Circus of the Spectacular -- Excellent. My con favorite. The GMs also did to do audience voices, based on how well the performances were going. ("Mommy, I'm -bored-." "Ooh, look -- I don't want to be a sword swallower any more. I wanna be a knife thrower!") This was one of those games where everything came together, from costumes to poetic justice. The most normal characters? The siamese twins.

Buried Secrets: The Chelmsford Incident -- PST game, a very different style. CoC, where one is likely to die horribly. Solid, though I could have done without so much being chased by zombies. Hm. Note to self: Next time, instead of asking for a PC who doesn't need to think, ask for one who is plot.

Panel: The LARP -- 1 hour, chaos. A nice wind down, though, like many other games, the last quarter seemed to drag.

Overall: 3 good games, 1 excellent game, 1 mediocre but fun game. All in all, a good convention.
