Slowly Moving Forward

So, this week:

Island of Ignorance, the kickstarter I'm doing editorial work for, has launched. It should surprise no one that this is a collection of articles and scenarios for the Call of Cthulhu RPG.

I read the first two books I took out with my new Brooklyn Library Card.

I got the go ahead from my lawyer to write the check from my mother's estate to pay Medicaid. We have been trying to pay Medicaid for about fourteen months now, and this is a major step towards finally wrapping the estate.

We saw Looper. Interesting, but flawed in many ways.

We got a box of stuff we didn't need out of the house.

I finished reading and commenting on the Cortex Plus Drama rules.

I sent in my zine for Alarums & Excursions.

We had a larp meeting that I gather was productive. I was sleeping for part of it, but the summary of what happened sounds quite promising.

I caught a head cold and possible a slight fever.
