[livejournal.com profile] mnemex did a con report. I'll likely do mine for Alarums and Excursions, but may put it here if there's additional interest. The basics:

The Deliria game was great and we talked the GM into running a second session. I dropped my Nobilis demo for it. Either it was cancelled or some person trying to get in was made very happy. Not like I needed the sleep.

Kat's games were as good as expected.

The Buckaroo Banzai Larp was astonishingly fun, especially considering it ran at less than half strength. The Buffy larp ran with 36 players, iirc, and was very chaotic. I had the most fun when I decided subtlety could go to the hellmouth.

The GM for Lost Slayers made none of her sessions, and I don't know if she even made it to the convention.

I'm still crazy enough to try for the auction gift shop day one. Got the Farscape RPG for $20. No, I've never seen the show. Well, once, by accident. No, I don't know d20 that well. But for $20, what the hey?

Kult is back. D6 is back.

Fudge Deryni, Blue Rose, Welcome to Sunnydale, Weapons of the Gods, and a couple of other things weren't actually available at GenCon Indy. This is not because the companies wanted to wait for SoCal, but because of various problems.

Got Sorcerer and My Life with Master for [livejournal.com profile] agrumer and One False Step Home for [livejournal.com profile] womzilla. Got lots of weird stuff from the Forge booth for me, including With Great Power, Nine Worlds, Dogs in the Vineyard, Prime Time Adventures, War Stories, and the anthology o'games.

Got John Wick's Enemy Gods.

Failed my Resist White Wolf roll and got the new World of Darkness and Vampire: The Requiem.

Got 2 sets of MENKS cards for the larp at Columbia.

Failed to locate a drug store or a supermarket. Not that I tried, but do these things exist in downtown Indy?

Found the latest Barker Tekumel novel for mnemex, but still haven't gotten around to reading more of the first one myself.
