What the hey. Here's my list:

1. Oh good, my dog found the chainsaw. ([livejournal.com profile] mnemex)

2. It was getting so I felt I needed official surroundings.

3. It's poetry. The poetry of war.

4. Slither in.

5. Look at it! Is that or is it not the wrong chinaman?

6. Thank God no one in this city looks up! ([livejournal.com profile] mnemex)

7. I always leave one bullet, either for myself or for the other guy.

8. Does the rolling help? ([livejournal.com profile] mnemex)

9. You can check your anatomy all you want, and even though there may be normal variation, when it comes right down to it, this far inside the head it all looks the same.

10. I'm hung like a horse. Think about it.

11. Sheer improvisation, boys!

12. I never saved anything for the swim back. ([livejournal.com profile] mnemex)

[Note to [livejournal.com profile] bugsybanana: I wish IMDB had all the quotes I wanted. Even at the best of times, one may get these slightly wrong. I hope that's not the case for the ones I did from memory.]

Oh, right, I failed to read #8.

8. Galaxy Quest, of course.

(by cheating, I mean, me responding, since I've seen many/most of the movies that you have)

Wrong on #5. I've never actually seen Blazing Saddles, btw.
#7 is a bit tricky, but yes, you've seen it.
#12 is spelled GATTACA, I believe.

The cheating isn't you seeing the movies, but having heard me talk about them and knowing which lines I remember. That's how you got Galaxyquest.

Number 6 has always annoyed me. I haven’t even seen the movie and it’s annoyed me. It’s like saying that nobody in NYC votes Democratic, or is Jewish, or takes the subway to work.

Oh, it's utterly untrue. But the movie's still good.
