Okay, my first recipe for Live Journal.

Boil about a pound of wide, no-yolk noodles -- these come in 12-16 oz packages, and I cook one package. When the water boils, I add olive oil.
Drain noodles, then mix with:
chicken or tuna fish -- either works for me
a can of goya beans -- I've used red and black
avocado -- I used two avocados this time, which seems about right

For spices, I used a chili oil with a nice bite, and Arwen's Flame Breath powder and her Garlic Salt. Yum.

This is rather similar to my chicken & caper pasta

Interesting. I've tried cooking with avocado, but was underwhelmed. Or do you add the avocado just before serving?

I add the avocado just before serving.
Ditto for the tuna/chicken, though I do use a pre-cooked chicken, either from the supermarket or from Boston Market.
Ditto for the beans, which are not the "you gotta cook 'em before they're edible" variety.

How much chicken or tuna? The equivalent of one can, i.e. 6 oz., I presume?

And the can is the standard 15 oz. size, right?

That seems like a lot of avocado. Are those the small blackish ones or the larger green ones?

I'm an accountant. Quantification is my job.

Tuna fish was one can, but I don't remember the ounceage.
Chicken was all of the white meat in one Boston Market chicken.
