I've walked to work both yesterday and today. Got a lift home both days from a coworker. She can probably take me home the rest of the week, but she's on vacation next week.
The walk to work isn't bad. About 45 minutes, and it's not been too cold for me thus far. Yesterday, I got an offer of a lift into the city, which I had to decline, as that's not where I work. Today,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mnemex walked with me as far as 39th Street in Queens, turning down two lift offers, one from a taxi driver willing to take folks into the city for free, at least during those hours when he needs 4 in the cab.
At work, our art director walked in from Brooklyn, about 2-3 hours. Someone drove her home, and today, my boss's assistant went back out in her car, after ferrying in whoever she was taking, to pick up the art director at whatever point she'd reached in her walk.
