Door

We seem to have a functional door that locks, with a peephole I can actually see through. Still wondering if it'll be there, intact, with all our stuff likewise intact on the other side when we get back, but I am more interested in making sure that we are intact.

Huzzah; the door is no longer a jar! :-)

Here's hoping the maniac decides to go elsewhere -- say, 40 feet below the surface of the East River -- for hir next act, and leaves you alone.
